sisal: a durable plant fiber harvested from the mature leaves of the agave sisalana plant (since most weeding is done by hand, no pesticides or chemical fertilizers are used in production)
care: regular, thorough vacuuming is best to reduce soil build-up + prolong the beauty and life of the floor covering (damage to the carpet fibers can occur if the vacuum brushes are set too low)
avoid: do not pull or adjust rug by handling at the border, do not saturate your carpet with water or cleaner, do not steam clean or wet shampoo (these methods could cause shrinkage, dimensional changes or staining of natural fibers)
Variations in weave and shading create a distinctive, interesting, character to the unique natural fiber floor coverings and are not considered defects.
