We offer the highest quality performance fabrics available. They are stain and odor resistant, durable and comfortable, ideal for active families! Our 4-piece slipcovers provide a tailored look and strong structure encompassing the seating’s back, skirt, arms + sides. This allows ease with fitting should you want to change your fabric or remove a section for cleaning purposes. All back cushions are loose providing the opportunity to be filled which keeps the seating looking fresh and extends the life of the furniture.
Many of our sofas have various options including upholstered rather than slipcovered, and add-ons such as sleepers, chaise and ottomans. Further customization is available. Please contact BSEID’s customer service team for help with purchasing a swatch or a custom quote.

Construction
Frames are constructed of ⅞” hardwood. All wood joints are interlocked and glued for strength and durability. Corners are block reinforced to provide extra stability. A drop-in coil unit surrounded by angle iron and then secured to the frame provides inner strength. Heavy gauge coils are used in the drop-in coil unit for consistent seating. A ¼” deck pad is used to separate the coils from seat cushions offering stability and support.

Cushions
Sofas + Sectionals: The Comfort Chic insert cushion made is a 1.8 high resiliency foam surrounded by a luxurious Micro Denier fiber called Trillium (an alternative to down) which is encased in a UFAC approved high quality three-hundred count cotton ticking. A ¼” deck pad separating coils from seat cushions, increases longevity of the cushion and offers another degree of softness.

Fabrics
All of our performance fabrics must be cleaned by hand or laundered & cannot be dry cleaned. We encourage you to order a fabric swatch prior to ordering. The cost of the swatch will be deducted from your furniture purchase. Color may be interpreted differently when viewed online. Variations in color/finish/details may occur due to the resolution settings on your computer. The fabrics are separated into four collections, each with their own unique qualities and cleaning instructions.

Crypton:

• most liquid spills roll off
• for medium stain (coffee, crayon, ketchup) spills quickly blot with dry towel or sponge
• for stubborn stains use a solution (1/4 tsp mild, enzyme detergent, such as Tide or Dawn dishwashing liquid, per 1 cup of lukewarm water) & lightly mist, scrub inward & rinse thoroughly
• take extra care to brush lightly since fibers can be broken or matted during the cleaning
• repeat cleaning steps as needed, allow fabric to air dry
• cannot be dry cleaned

Breathe:

• free of fluorine & added formaldehydes
• does not emit VOCs
• made of natural or recycled fibers & a plant-based water repellent
• can repel or make many everyday stains easily spot cleaned
• can be or machine washed gentle
• cannot be dry cleaned

Fortress:

• designed to withstand most spills with easy clean properties
• extremely durable
• water + stain resistant.
• for liquid stain (coffee, wine) spills use a clean absorbent cloth to blot gently from the edge towards the center, if necessary wipe with a wet lint free cloth
• for viscous stain (ketchup, mud) spills use a flat instrument (like a butter knife) to carefully scrap the excess “blob” spill off the fabric then use a clean wet, lint free cloth and gently scrub inward to center of spill
• for stubborn stains use a solution (1/4 tsp mild, enzyme detergent, such as Tide or Dawn dishwashing liquid, per 1 cup of lukewarm water) & spray the affected area thoroughly, then using a soft bristled brush gently scrub the area, if necessary wipe with a wet lint free cloth
• repeat cleaning steps as needed
• after cleansing, rinse fabric thoroughly & allow the fabric air dry
• cannot be dry cleaned

Sunbrella:

• “worry-free” choice
• extremely durable
• stain resistance
• for spills, apply a light mist of mild soap + water using a spray bottle, working the solution into the stain by lightly agitating the entire surface area of the fabric with a sponge or very soft bristle brush (avoid scrubbing!)
• repeat cleaning steps as needed
• after cleansing, rinse fabric thoroughly & allow the fabric air dry
• cannot be dry cleaned
