For nearly 30 years, Susan and Doug have traveled the lesser-known corners of the world in an effort to bring the most unique, fun, and fascinating products to the home and garden décor industry. With a commitment to working with recycled, sustainable materials, and dedication to improving the lives of those within those corner regions, Kalalou is known as an American Success Story. A Creole word referring to a stew of many ingredients, “Kalalou” is playfully named as a tribute to its products’ blend of colors, textures, whimsy, artisans, recycled materials, different countries, repurposed objects, and lots of imagination.
