While working as an upholstery merchandiser and designing showrooms, Allison McCall decided to take the picture framing knowledge and create beautiful products with a handmade story. With an appreciation for timeless art and adding a vintage as well as eclectic feel, Antique Curiosities was established. The whimsical watercolor children’s line was created by Allison’s college aged daughter. Other images are derived from bookplates spanning to over 150 years old. Each piece is handcrafted for reproduction using archival papers and inks. The entire process from cutting the length moldings to printing and framing is all done at their factory in North Carolina. Each piece is designed, crafted and shipped with care.
